Standard Operations (Notes)

Standard Operations (Notes)

Standard operations involve using the note recycler's built in counters to add, remove, or empty cassettes. These use the same input and output areas as bank deposits and withdrawals. Using the Standard Operations allows for faster, more accurate adjustments to the recycler inventory.

⚠️ WARNING

Manually adding and removing notes is strongly discouraged. Manually manipulating the notes in the recycler may result in variances or damage to the machine, and may impact coverage of the hardware service agreement. Please use the operations below and/or with the Transit Cassette when possible.

Always perform an audit after manually manipulating the notes in the recycler.

Add Correction

If there is a variance between the LiveCage inventory and the Recycler's inventory, a supervisor will need to resolve the variance. The supervisor should click Add Correction, and insert cash to correct the discrepancy.
